At Wing Making 101 the cosplay duo Double Mischief Cosplay will teach you about materials to make wings, how to pattern them and different methods to attach them. Come learn about wing making and how this knowledge can help you make your own wings.

Make and Take: “Recreating a Viking Age Inspired Hood” with Joia - Workshop - 11:30am-1:30pm

*This Workshop is pay what you can with a suggested donation of $15* Sew your own historically inspired hood! This project will be a recreation of an early medieval Viking Age hood found in Skjoldehamn, Sweden. You will leave class with a pattern, and a short-term wearable garment. Pattern options include a more historically accurate version, and several variations you can choose from to customize a more fantasy inspired version. No sewing experience necessary. All necessary tools and materials will be provided on a pay-what-you-can basis. Suggested donation $15. No one turned away for lack of funds. Twelve people maximum.

So you want to start cosplaying but aren’t sure how? Come hang out with the PNW Guild of cosplayers as we go over the basic of getting started in cosplay. We’ll go over where you can buy materials or completed cosplays, the basic tools you’ll need for various mediums, and how to survive at a convention in cosplay!

Sigils and You: Magical Sigil Creation with Void Witch and Professor LeGhoul- Panel 2 - 1:00-2:00pm

Many cultures and cabals have drawn sigils, magical symbols, to perform magic over the centuries. Today, they can also be used as reminders and motivational tools or to make intricate art pieces. And, of course, they can be used purely for fun.
